Know God
We desire that every person at Freedom Church come to know God and live a life that makes Him known.
“And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” John 17:3
About Freedom Church
Who We Are
A church family in Mauldin, SC, building people who build the Kingdom of God.
Our passion
“Our passion at Freedom Church is for people to experience a genuine encounter with God's love so that they would come to know Him, experience freedom, discover their purpose, and make a difference.”
When people enter into a genuine encounter with God, their entire world can change in an instant. It is our desire to lead every person in our services to an encounter with God which leaves them transformed by His radical love.
We believe that through these encounters with God, our community and our city will be changed to look more like heaven here on earth — to look more like the Kingdom of God.
Core values
What shapes us
Four values guide everything we do. Listen to Pastor Russ teach on each one.
Experience Freedom
We desire that every person at Freedom Church experience life with Jesus through the presence of the Spirit.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:17–18
Discover Purpose
We desire that every person at Freedom Church discover and understand their spiritually empowered gifting.
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Romans 12:4–5
Make a Difference
We desire that every person at Freedom Church participate in building God’s Kingdom through their spiritually empowered gifting.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12
